2019 FSA Training Conference: Pre-conference days for Foreign Schools and New Financial Aid Administrators: This year the U.S. Department of Education (the Department) is hosting its annual FSA Training Conference for Financial Aid Professionals at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada from Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019 through Friday, Dec. 6, 2019. Below are links to special pre-conference days.

2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), FAFSA on the Web Worksheet, and the Student Aid Eligibility Worksheet for Question 23: The final versions of the 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, FAFSA on the Web Worksheet, and Student Aid Eligibility Worksheet for Question 23 are now available in English and Spanish, in Portable Document Format (PDF). The PDF versions of the FAFSA form are provided to the community as a resource that can be used as a training tool or for financial aid presentations. These versions are also available on studentaid.gov/resources for submission to Federal Student Aid. Please review the October 1, 2019 electronic announcement for additional information.

The 2020–21 FAFSA Form and myStudentAid Mobile App are Now Available: The 2020–21 FAFSA cycle began today. The application is available until June 30, 2021—but be sure to remind your students that some funds are limited, so it’s a good idea to apply as soon as possible. There are two ways that students can apply: Online via fafsa.gov and by downloading the myStudentAid mobile app. Please review the October 1, 2019 electronic announcement for additional information.

“What Financial Aid Administrators Do” Post on the NASFAA website – The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) has posted on their website some resources to help entities outside the Financial Aid Office (FAO) understand how they can interact with the FAO and what Financial Aid Administrators can do for/with them. Please visit the Tools and Resources page on the NASFAA website for additional information.
