Reminder – FISAP Edit Corrections due 12/15/2017: Any changes, corrections or edits to the Fiscal Operations Report for 2016–17 and the Application to Participate for 2018–19 (FISAP) must be submitted to the Department of Education (the Department) by midnight Eastern time (ET) on 12/15/17. Please review the November 13, 2017 electronic announcement.

Reminder – Federal Perkins Loan Program Cash on Hand Update due 12/15/17: All schools that participate in the Federal Perkins Loan (Perkins Loan) Program must update and submit Part III, section A, Line 1.2 (Cash on hand and in depository as of 10/31/2017) on the Fiscal Operations Report for 2016–17 (FISAP) to the Department of Education (the Department) by midnight Eastern time (ET) on 12/15/17. Important: It is critical that schools meet this deadline to ensure that all FISAP data is correctly reflected in the system before the Campus-Based system transition begins in early 2018. Change requests for corrections after 12/15/17 will be limited to exceptional issues. Please review the November 13, 2017 electronic announcement for additional information.

Reminder – Gainful Employment – Updated Appeal Status Information on FSA Data Center & Final Appeal Documentation Due 2/1/18:  The Department of Education has updated the final Debt Measure Year 2015 Gainful Employment (GE) Debt-to-Earnings (D/E) rates information that is available on the Federal Student Aid Data Center to identify additional GE programs for which it has received a Notice of Intent to Appeal.  As a reminder, final appeal documentation must be submitted to the Department on or before 2/1/18. Please review the Gainful Employment, November 22, 2017 electronic announcement #109 for additional information.

COD School Testing for the 2018-19 Award Year: The Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) School Relations Center will allow for COD School Testing for the 2018–19 Award Year from January 2, 2018 through December 21, 2018. All entities that wish to participate in COD School Testing must submit the “COD School Testing 2018–19 Sign-Up Document” to the COD School Relations Center. Please review the November 17, 2017 electronic announcement for additional information.

Health Education Assistance Loan (HEAL) – Updates to Information Page: Updates were posted recently to the HEAL information page – including, but not limited to, two emails that were sent to HEAL partners from on October 12, 2017 and November 30, 2017. The page also includes recent and older electronic announcements. If you are a HEAL Partner, please review the information page for additional details and bookmark the page for future reference.

2018-2019 ISIR Guide (November 2017): The updated 2018-2019 ISIR Guide recently became available and includes a few corrections. The Guide assists financial aid administrators (FAAs) in interpreting student information on the Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR). Please review the November 15, 2017 electronic announcement for additional information.

Updated NSLDS Enrollment Reporting Guide (November 2017): The updated NSLDS Enrollment Reporting Guide (November 2017) recently became available. Please review the November 16, 2017 electronic announcement for additional information.

NSLDS Enrollment Reporting Statistics Backup Detail Report Extract File Layout for Schools (SCHCB1): The National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) Enrollment Reporting Statistics Backup Detail Report Extract File Layout for Schools (SCHCB1) recently became available. This new report allows users to request an extract from NSLDS that lists students included in the calculations for the current Enrollment Reporting Statistics. Please review the November 20, 2017 electronic announcement for additional information.

EDESuite (EDExpress, DL Tools):  For the latest electronic announcements regarding the EDESuite of software products (EDExpress for Windows and Direct Loan tools), please access recent electronic announcements on the IFAP website where an information page about those products is maintained.
